XL map. With art value, not like simple yours XL. Just play and see. Full of secret areas and hidden caves. There is a password in the name of unknown!!! No balance,it's banal. Pretty good hero avatars, all new. Enjoy !! |

There is not really a story in this scenario, but the map is beautiful and playable. The independent raiding heroes are hard to fight, which makes the map very exciting. I cannot rate the balance, because I did not play all wizards. |

Playability: 5
Most thrilling scenario I've ever played. Nothing is boring, everything is a challenge. Unfortunately, I couldn't find Arahna to finish it. I guess, she has 1 last city, but the way to it was found undetectable.
Balance: 5
Who actually needs a balance playing in SP mode? Elves have only one city and no towns near it (except one in a cave, but it's very difficult to reach this one), Orcs have about 5 towns in their Mordor -- OK, it makes the game more interesting$ if you don't prefer play for Mordor, of course :P
Creativity: 5
Over 200 descriptions for near 250 heroes, perfect usage of fire and death storms for Mordor and land of the undead, poison clouds for Moria... who can demand more? I didn't see the shadow plan, buy hopefully it isn't large and cannot make the global impression worse.
Map Design: 5
Excellent. For some details look above.
Story/Instructions: 5
Do you need a story for every map? I don't. I have my own fantasy, for good map it's quite enoudh.
Additional Comments:
I've commented the 1st version of this scenario: aow2.heavengames.com/downloads/showfile.php?fileid=754. Most underestimated map hear in Heavengames, IMHO.

Great to play. Very hard with the neutral units roaming around, but enjoyable at the same time. I could not find Arahnia's capital though to finish it.
Balance: 3
Seems like Orks, Undead and Dwarves have a way better start with 3/4 cities around, like the elves I played. You should have made them CPU only
Creativity: 5
Very good. Very detailed and then the storms fiting for every Wizard all fine.
Map Design: 5
Detailed and creative map.
Story/Instructions: 3
None, but for this map its not really needed.
Additional Comments:
Very hard to play for me as elven player with only one city and strong roaming neutrals. Every other player I offered peace I had enough to do to stay alive. As the human kingdom first lost Minas Tirith to neutrals and later even was destroyed by them (3 undead heroes), i managed to take all their former cities, that was the key to victory for me. Also I focused on dominating heroes - as I had not enough money to grow strong otherwise in the beginning, and ended up with a ridiculous high number of 30 heroes, funny.
Great job done by you, a very challenging and interesting map.[Edited on 03/31/20 @ 09:59 AM]
