Thanks for trying out this map. It's fun but difficult to start with. At the beginning you and your allies compete for inner towns, nodes, and mines in your section of the map. The Evil side (Goblins, Undead and Dark Elves) Start In the mountains, while the Orcs start on a beach just north of the mountain pass.
The Good Side (Elves, Archons, Dwarves) Start on an isolated island only accesable by teleporters.
This map is a little hard to get mana and gold on so spend it wisely.
Please comment or rate this map, I'd like to see an overall opinion and since this is my first map I'd like to know if I should gear other future ones toward that type of layout.

sorry but I'm only playing with AoW:SM map 1.4 UPatch (with or without mod).
I fear a lot of players are in the same way...

Creative, I've never seen that type of layout with your allies. (I personally like it so when we're playing hotseat we're not on the other side of the map from eachother)
Map Design: 5
Very nice design I liked how you made that Azrac island.
Story/Instructions: 4
Not too much of a story except for the good side and even then there's just Gabriel telling you to kill Nekron
Additional Comments: Pretty nice map the only thing I would suggest on is to make the land a little more detailed with more rocks and shrubs. Otherwise Nice map.

Great for Hotseat, loved to play it and tons of different turnouts for every round!
Balance: 5
Each team is Given a good even amount of resources and Cities. and those who don't have Cities have 2 towns.

I like the island layout, Dwarves living underneath the mountains, and even the Wizards Council City.
Map Design: 5
Crafty; but I agree with Yogurt you should add a little more detail to the land.

A good story for hotseat, If you were looking for a 1 player type thing then the storyline would be a "3" but it's perfect for hotseat because of the "right to it-nis" so you're not spending half the time figuring out what to do.
Additional Comments: I would recommend this as mainly a multiplayer/hotseat map because of the layout. I don't really like the idea of Gabriel... you should just take him out, it's just a little annoying to have defeated the other team then need to go into the mountains after him.
