This is set on a scenic landscape of a horseshoe bend in a large, lazy river. Wizards and heroes can become powerful in this scenario, and powerful creatures are rare, as they should be, especially in the early game.
Wizards are fully customizable, although it is recommended that each player choose from one of the two or three races given for each wizard:
Skulkan: Orc/Dark Elf
There is an Archon village between Serena and Arrianne which is ready to make saints.
Cities and villages have production/size limits. Your capital cannot make a champions guild, although champions guilds can be made at villages near your capital. No town can build lvl 4 units, although there are a few which can be hired from structures.
I suggest that no player start with the explorer skill, and players should be wary of taking anarchist, especially Tempest, Arrianne, or Yaka.

Hope someone can help me understand this thing: I found Oneron in a rogue shack. I really dont understand what his role is. Is he just a unit that should be used as combat meat or is he supposed to do something in this scenario?
