Yo, who has two thumbs and uPatch 1.4? It's ya'girl and we're doing Vikings this time.

This here is a single-player 1v1v1 map with a little story attached and some corresponding quests.

****

The past lies like a nightmare over the world.

It has been one hundred years since High King Kerdik died. Deep in the wilderness, his house-karls and retainers laid him in a splendid tomb with all of his earthly treasures and finery, and raised over it a great mound and a circle of standing stones in testament to his power. There, the High King slumbers still, and the legends say that he will return again when the world needs him most.

No sooner were Kerdik's ashes cold than his thanes began to make war amongst themselves for his throne, shattering the empire. Only two managed to grab and maintain real power--Holmgangr-Swain in the far north, and Theodimir at the mouth of the great river--while the others lead only single hill forts or isolated warbands. The late Holmgangr-Swain and his daughter, Hild, hold with the old ways and the old gods, while Theodimir has taken up with the new God.

Now, Hild must take up her father's mantle and restore peace to the land, putting down the errant warlords and the strength of Theodimir and his new faith. However, something is stirring beneath the earth. If the wise-women are to be believed, the late High King does not rest peacefully, and it may be that the legend of his timely return was not a promise, but a threat . . .

Watschenbaum Hi Nathalie,

I wish you Merry Chrismas!

I started your scenario, however, I missed the building aspect. The player starts with loads of troops without having to build up cities. Therefore, I didn't play it although for other players your scenario might be very interesting.

Nevertheless, I appreciate you made the effort to create a scenario at all. Although it is not my taste.

Best regards
Watschenbaum
