Drill Graphics SM

Author File Description
Krewzten Drill graphics - by Krewzten

I very much liked the drill from AoW1, an was quite disappointed to not see it returning in AoW2, nor in Shadow Magic. So I made one myself, using the old images from AoW1. However the didn't really fit in with the new graphics, so I built and rendered my own images in 3DS Max. This was laying around for a while on my computer, but I finally decided to share it with other drill fans out there. So, enjoy!

This only contains an ILB, no actual mod pack.
You would have to manually add the drill to the mod you're using, or create a resource pack for it.

Okay, since the OP's instructions aren't as complete as they might be, this is what I did:

Copied the ILB to [AoWSM]\Images\Units

Selected my Test Mod Pack in AoWSM, the opened the 'Unit Bodies' tab in the editor.

Copy/pasted the image for the 'Flame Cannon' #198 to an empty slot - I used #199 but if your mod already has something there pick another slot.

Open the 'Properties' page for the new unt; leave the 'Settings' tab alone (this keeps the SFX files) and click 'Generate.'

Set the 'Image Libraby' to DRILL.ILB - if it doesn't appear in the dropdown list you put Krewtzen's file in the wrong place.

Stand Still 30, FPS 15
Move 30-59, FPS 20
Death 80-95, FPS 15
Attack 30-35, FPS 15
Hit 30-40

X-shift -128, Y-shift -160

Press "OK" and check you work.

Lastly, set the Preview image to 130 since for some reason the Generate function always sets this to 100 and that image is void.

@Krewtzen if I've got these numbers wrong, please let me know. thx

Right sorry. I know how frustrating it is to be downloading something, and there are no instruction how to use it. So thanks to ChowGuy for completing that.

The numbers I'm using are:

Move: 10-25, FPS: 15
Death: 80-95, FPS: 10
Attack: 30-50, FPS: 20

X shift: -128, Y shift: -172
