Simulating a "Round World" MapPosted by: Molog (12-05-2002) on the AOW2 Scenario Forum A simple teleport event from one side of the map to the other side (left side border of map to the right side border or vice-versa) can be made, effectivly removing borders of map (ie simulating a 'Round World feel'). Add teleporters if you want the AI to use this feature too. Make a teleport event that teleports units from one side (border) of the map to the other. Fill in as much information as possible. You'll only be incapable of filling in the height (x-coordinates). Now copy and paste that event on the map lengthwise. Now go through all these events and increase the height by one increment each time. In order to make it easier for yourself, have the height indicated in the name of the teleport event script. Now do same for other side and you've removed borders from map. Might be good idea for a world map. I've tested this and AoW2 has no problems running with it. |
