rat_peddler A nice set of maps. I have played with many of them even though they aren't single player maps. I have not rated them because of that fact.

Now if we could just encourage these map makers to provide these in a single player version; even if only one side is playable with a supported AI on the other that would be fun!

ibobs The Lion the Witch and the Warfare.

Playability: 5
Balance: 5
Creativity: 5
Map Design: 4
Story/Instructions: 4

Additional Comments:
I like this map. It is nicely presented, the wizards and heroes are nice, the idea is good. Thumbs up here!

I had to post here as not uploaded seperately.

Just a quick question though, why did you use a teleport event for the Kings of Old when a hero join would work more easily? ;)
ibobs Blackheart and Goodfella.

Playability: 5
High, but not to be played blind.

Balance: 4
I think there is a slight advantage to the pirates if Goodfella doesn't get a decent summon spell.

Creativity: 4

Map Design: 5

Story/Instructions: 4

Additional Comments:
Nice map! Shame I lost twice to Fromage! ;)

Sunicle I had also made a rating for 'The Witch, the Lion & the Warfare', but I only sent it to Rheno, as the map wasn't uploaded here. But if Ibobs gives his opinion, I might as well give mine:

The Witch, the Lion and the Warfare:
* Playabilty: 5
Events generate interest, several things to do and several routes to take.
Landscape easy on the eye and full of design surprises; detailed without being cluttered.
* Balance: 4
Independents somewhat weak compared to players.
* Creativity: 5
Creativity and attention to detail has been applied to every aspect of this map.
* Map Design: 4
Map layout somewhat predictable due to a degree of symmetry.
Story & Instructions: 5
These come in exactly the right measure and help the flow of the game.

This map plays a bit quicker than most maps in the bunch, that makes it a bit easier to rate as well, but other maps I've seen were not less good!

Desolation Domination

Playability: 3
The attack routes are severely restricted by the storm in the center and the void barriers. There is only one route per player, this is one way and can be blocked by large numbers of defensive troops. We had three main fights and that was it. This is quite bad actually. At least if you could get through the center, then spectres could advance.

Balance: 5
It is fair to both sides.

Creativity: 4
I did like the random pluses and minuses to gold and mana for events - humourous too. :)
