Could have used a little more clues about the overall goals of the map.
Certainly not a complete cake walk. Enough AIs and static defenders with city limits to make it take some though.
Nice variation on captive wizard approach and the toggle dwarf gates.

A nice looking map with alot of variety and different style for each of the levels.
A few in game messages, quests, and sign posts. Some background would help.
Much better then one would have exptected. I only played because of the good review on the MP version. Definitely a fun SP map.

I've played a few times, trying to get used to the map and I found myself bored by this map. It might just be me but I'm getting tired of this HoMM's style of map. You start in the underground with some forking paths only to encounter the same kind of party all the time and getting close to no rewards.
This is kind of hard to say since it's a single player map.
There are some interesting ideas in the layout and I liked the surface.

The actual map layout is good looking. Different encounters would have been interesting. I fought the same party 5 times in a row and nothing to show. There are a few spots where mines or furnaces are all clustered.
No real instruction on where to go... usually I don't mind... I would have liked a little warning when i dug my way to a double party full of warlords after 8 turns.
I wish I got deeper in the map... but the map bored me so much I didn't have a chance to. Fighting and fighting with no real rewards is not really motivating. Losing a runemaster to defeat a clan including a Sphinx, a beholder and such to get a charioteer really killed it for me.
