A work in progress. First maps works, second is under construction. Feel free to open it up and make some suggestions and ask some questions. I know the first map is short. Second map is much longer and involves a lot more. First map was just for setting the story.
Follow Michael as he learns about his past and fights for his future. He is a young wizard who has been chosen by the Archangels of Heaven as their champion. Though he doesn't want the job, he is forced to take it.
Note: This is a campaign! Load it into the user campaign folder.
May 6/08: Updated the second map. Not finished. Looking for some ideas to put in the wild lands.
Your map had the extension uc2, so I had to change it to ahm in order to take a look.
:)
Your idea sounds interesting. The XL map, I fear, only contains two locations and is all blank for the rest so its extremely early in development.
Good luck, I hope you will post updates and perhaps join the making of series in the scenerio design section. It seems quite ambitious!
:)
EDIT: Ah, I see now there are two maps after reading your comments more thoroughly (it didn't make sense). The exile maps contains some more action!
Looks like a rough draft, hope to see some more variability within the forest soon! Its a bit monotone. Story is very interesting, imo.

Yeah, the first level I kind of just made an extra large map and started working. Didn't feel like redoing it when I realized it was too big.
The storyline is based on a book that I want to write. First level is merely the story setter, the second one will have much more. The warring wizards won't hold much weight on the story in the second map. They are there more to be seen than anything. Michael can wander the places, but he'll be hurting if he gets into a fight with anyone. To simulate Michael getting better, he'll be awarded items that will disappear in the third map and be replaced with actual ability. It'll be one kick butt wizard, cause he'll be on the ability level of pretty powerful heroes and daemons.
EDIT: I'm also not that great at making flavourful maps... The forest isn't overly important, though. The most important part is the area north of the forest and west of the wasteland. That will look a lot better.
