And the Story goes:
Once in a faraway land.... Lived the orc leader Yagá Rhea. She is ageless, people said. Hard as a rock they said. She purified the lands of Ulafor from the mad undead. Now her rule over her part of land is threatened. She is in the middle of the oldest war that has ever been on the surface of this land. The war between Elves and Archons...
End.
So this map is just a usual map where an evil race fights against two good races. The Story is what it is. I don´t have a good head for that.
This is probably the best looking single-player small map I have seen in a while. The author doesn't really sell it in his introduction but the map is truly gorgeous. It is small, but some areas are very novel (love the harbours) and have a level of detail and imagination on par with the stunning maps by the Groll (though different)!
From a balance perspective, the map doesn't look difficult. Your starting forces aren't very much different from the AI ones. The fact that the AI doesn't use boats, is also a handicap.
I did see some events, so I am not sure if there are large events I am not factoring in. It definitely should be a fun map to play!
Yours very impressed,

A fun fast map to play. Battles happen quickly as you are pinned between two enemies.

Once the Orcs get Doom Bats and the Undead cities the tide changes quickly. However, Emperor AIs hold their own for many a year.

A good solid map.

A very pretty and detailed map with unique cites and routes.

A few messages and events that give some vital clues.
Additional Comments:
Nice to see a very well done small single player map. I was surprised to get victory without wiping out both the Elves and Archons.

Hi Dreaming, I have found a bit of time to play this now and am quite impressed. I am only on turn 20 or so will not rate as yet, but as I commented in reply to your post, I am very impressed with the map drawing and it is good play so far. I dont normally play small maps but I very much recommend this one to others who do like them! I am just pinned down at the minute and fending off the many AI armies to start with.
Cheers

A tough little b1tch of a scenario! I mean that in a good way! Starts tough, you build your troops and then it is still tough to finish off the AI wizards.

About 100 turns to victory shows good challenge, although I wasnt very focused for the last 20 or so.

Nice map!

Very well drawn map. Best thing is this!

Not much if any, so have to be neutral on this one.
Additional Comments:
I wanted to be generous to encourage this type of map making as it is excellent so found it easy to be so! :) My one comment is that this would make a brilliant multi player map. 2 v 2 or all against each other. The areas are nicely separated and good choke points. A few more quests and stuff would spice it up just a little and it wouldn't need much more done to it.
As I said in the comment, I dont really like small maps (just my choice) but this one is great.
