Charl Goens II the water wizard and Funo Dakloan The wizard of the winds.

Nobody ever really knew the country of Queljas. It was an old place full of magic, life and death. A place filled with mystical fairy beasts, great dragons and many dark -indescribable filthy- creatures. A place full of treasure which embodied the strength and wisdom of those powerful enough to scare all.
All this treasure, all these lands..... for whomever bold enough to go there.

Although the map is no masterpiece, the author is clearly underestimating his/her own efforts.

The map doesn't look like a 'first time effort' to try. It is detailed and contains areas which are actually surprisingly good and betray a rich imagination and skillful use of the v1.4 editor! Each area is unique and there is a lot of variability that will keep people exploring. There are even custom made items and heroes!

The map also is not 'rather small' but contains a lot of content. It will contain hours of playtime to get through all areas, I predict.

There also isn't 'no story'. As prompted by the author, I expected a few sentences, but the story kept on going, and going... I think the author sets the story well. A lot better than many a map uploaded.

There is a lot lacking that could make this map even better, but I won't go into that. I just want to make clear that this is worth downloading, as opposed to what the bad marketing skills of the author can make one believe.

Conclusion: seems like the author needs some self confidence...

Thank you for your comments, swolte.
It is the first time in my life that anyone tells me that i suffer from a lack of self confidence.
However, when i compare my map to great maps (like yours) this is just plain honesty.

When you feel as a staff member that another -more marketing minded- piece of text would be appropriate, tell me and i'll change it.

But please tell me what else you would change for it can make my maps better.

rat_peddler It is a kinda fun treasure hunt, but the map is too static. Most of the towns are defended by independent AI, they are tough, but not re-enforced and don't attack.

I have taken over most of the above ground and have not been confronted by the Drawf AI. He doesn't live up to his ruthless story line.

Some events and messages would liven up the game.

Nice use of walls to make cities. A variety of terrain, teleports, etc..

Good background, but not much after that.

Additional Comments:
This game plays for a long time if you decide to collect all the toys.
