"Sachsen" is a map of middle size, not made for long games. Most games on this map so not take a lot of time because of the position of the start-cities. The shape and the relief was taken from the Free State of Saxony, in Germany.
This is my first map, so do not kill me if I made some mistakes.
Well, it doesn't look bad at all.
However, I have never seen a design where two (of the three) players are practically sitting next to each other. This will undoubtedly lead to a standoff, which can be interesting, but they are costly time-wise and unit-wise. Often so costly that if there is a third player (the elf), their advantage becomes too strong.
Anyway, lately, I have different perspectives on 'balance' in asymmetrical maps and I'd like to see how it can play out. Please send me an email if people have played it multi player.

Some issues with the river. Not navigateable even though you have boats there.
Seemed fair enough.
Map Design: 3
Somewhat unique in that at least it is not the normal rectangle.
Not much which is average.
Could use some things to spice it up. I liked that is was a smaller map which should allow more time for events or interesting features that is saved on all the terrain editing.
