20 Years have passed since King William left his homeland, to manage his new found lands. Recently the king recived a distress message from his homeland, something evil has set foot there and is gaining strength fast. The king has become sick and unable to travel, so he sent his son to investigate Prince Veldor. The Prince had some connection in the northern icy mountains, he knew Glacienna an ice witch that lived there and controlled formidable army of frostlings. Veldor covinced Glacienna to join him in the fight. Glacienna and her frostlings would march from the north and Prince Veldor came in from the south. With the help of Glacienna, the Archons and the Elves he just might rid the land of this new found evil.

The game is password protected ? You have storyline but no other information about the scenario.
If the game is to open for multiplayer, PBEM, it should not be passworded. 'Cause players often need to tweak one or two elements in the map for balances and fun.
Personally, I often take a look at the map design before playing. I'm curious with the positive comment above but I would wait till the password is removed :p |

-human prince has a much harder start, but np it's coop (helped with gold)
-the allies maybe are too mighty, maybe they can stand against black alone?! better when they are weaker and u try 2 save them
Creativity: 4

almost rate 5, but missed some hard quests or something

Nice scenario expecially at start. Had a lot of fun fighting the Orcs. Once they are defeated you are no more in danger , yet defeating the other two bad guys is engaging and entertaining.

This map is quite tough, but not too creative... also, I've seen at least one unmarked sign indicating a hurried map. There are also vast areas with little 'eye candy'. Also, after defeating the orcs, the other 2 enemies do not do anything until provoked. They just sit there, gaining strength. The undead do not even attempt to penetrate the cluster of towers blocking there entrance to Mr. Freeman. Does this indicate a number of AI blocks placed on the map?... if so, then why? Defeating the vast number of Gluttons with life-stealing was also quite challenging. A black Angel or a phoenix doesn't have much strength against them. The Glutton's high resistance overcomes most attempts using the fire-breath from the Phoenix. |

Playability: 2
(Can only play either Prince, or Witch.
Balance: 2
Orcs too strong against Prince.
Creativity: 2
Could be better - more eye candy, signs marked
Map Design: 4
Nice layout
Story/Instructions: 2
Rather short and vague storyline
Additional Comments:
Would be nice, if map were not password-protected. Could tweak a few things... |

To Skypup1:
I don´t want to nag but aren´t you a bit harsh there? I mean unmarked signs :0
Also the orcs are intentionally tough I mean they are supposed to be, they have taken over this land and the prince isn´t expecting opposition of this magnitude. I have played this map with my friend, I played as the prince and I had no problems with the orcs. Also I hate 'balanced' maps i.e where everybody is equal in some way or another. This is not a multiplayer skirmish map it´s a map where two friends can play side by side against overwhelming forces.
Even though the ice queen has an easier start the prince gains access to alot more towns and resources but he has to fight for it.
And yeah the counts surface domain is surrounded by ai blocks, the reason is simple, the count has such a huge army he would easily wipe his adversaries off the map if he would be allowed to wander outside too soon, he is supposed to turtle, not conquer.
I don´t know how far you played but I must admit the game becomes more interesting when you get underground.
Since it matters so much, the password for the map is "babylon", enjoy.[Edited on 11/05/07 @ 06:22 PM]
