The peaceful land of Olympus has been safe for all races for a millenium since the alliance of good races sealed the Demon Lord into the Shadow. All gates to the Shadow were destroyed except one, that powerful armies guard with the power of immortality given to them by the Gods of Olympus themselves.

However, priests and seers throughout the land have fortold the return of the demons and that their Lord will follow. Disturbingly, this time seems to be upon you. Gates to the Shadow have appeared and effects of the Shadow can be seen around the immortal guardians. Is it the time of returning?

Grak has betrayed you, he is allied with the Darkness. There are rumours of evil spreading in the deep places.

You call for your advisors and you decide. It is time to call up your finest. It is time to rally the cities and people of the once mighty land of Olympus. It is time to call upon the Gods and seek their favour. New heroes must found, discover the ancient powers and forge new means to beat off the Darkness.

The Demon Lord is fierce, powerful and aggressive. Only force will stop him. Do you have what it takes to bring the fight to him and close the gates forever?

Playability: 5
Very playable.

Balance: 5
Each side has a starting area which is good. Well balanced.

Creativity: 4
Could be a little better, but not sure which areas are lacking.

Map Design: 5
Good separation.

Story/Instructions: 5
Enough quests to be interesting while building empires.

Additional Comments:
Very playable scenario. Multi player is quite balanced with enough variation in sides to be interesting. Being separated by terrain makes it interesting later on and the quests are nice.

I and my husband just finished playing this map. I had the dark elves and he the dwarves. It is really nice playing! You have an easy start, your area is well protected by npc guards (like the gate to the underworld) and it gives you a great chance to expand. Though, the archers became nasty with all these mods and patches I must say. Taking the Elves town east of my main town with 8 elve archers sitting in there was a pain *g*

Balance: 5
It was very good balanced. Yes, the demon lord was extrem strong and had toooooonnnnns of creatures. But it didn't help him none *g* After we achieved enough resources, I made the Orc guy that fought on the demon lords side go to war and fight him *lol* -it cost like 7k Mana to convince him- It was funny seeing them destroy each other. The hords of demons I set free just because of curiosity of what happens when I step into that center, of which I was warned not to, made it balance the game out more again. Because I and my husband got really strong. It was a great challenge!
Though what skypup1 mentioned (I never realized because I stepped into the center before I got the sword) is true... to solve that I suggest that you put another circle maybe next to it and let them come back out there.

Creativity: 5
I loved how he created this story, and made all these events happen, it sure is amusing, some of the messages you get. The bug with that ghost of order quest that skypup1 mentioned also happened to my husband refering to a different town though and getting the quest from the nature spirit... didn't really know what to do to make the spirit happy other than doing what she asks for^^ But the mapmaker sure had a good taste for mightyful objects. Everywhere you go is an adventure in this map

Map Design: 5
The map looks absolutely amazing. Very detailed and a lot of variaty.

Story/Instructions: 5
The instruction or rather the story is great, not the longest but the little stories inbetween, on that map, sure make up for that!

Additional Comments:

Simply loved it!!! We were hoping to get a peak into the map to see how you made all this, how you set the hordes and stuff like that... but a map makers secret I guess must be respected and we do ;) Would love to see more maps from you! Let me know if you have more!

Beside that... I'd like to know, how long did you work on it?

Oh one more thing: I can't really agree with skypup1 on the rune master thing... the rune masters used to be nasty but with the changes on the game now they kinda seem to suck^^

Best regards

I'm not going to repeat all the compliments so just few words:
Playability: 5 Balance: 5 Creativity: 5 Map Design: 5 Story/Instructions: 5
I only played as Goblins but it deffinetly sharpened my tastes for replay. I just loved the map design, esspecialy dungeons. Yours are very classy without unneccesary fireworks but with many hidden corridors and other fun stuff... That's what is missing for me in Your Titan's Choice.
Independents were very well ballanced, AI opponents could be more aggresive though, besides one moment it was just my offensive (very pleasant one though) and I like to defend in AoW.

It's 2 years since last post in this topic so I don't suppose You will read this but if You do keep up good work :) I didn't have that much pleasure with AoW since Campaign and only few SM campaign missions were as well designed as Your map.

Cheers

P.S.
And please more such classy dungeons! ;)

Simply loved playing it! Takes lots of time and effort

Balance: 5
Very balanced with a gradual increase in difficulty as the game progresses.

Creativity: 4
Something is missing from the overall. Something that kept bothering me during the game. Once I spot it I will let you know (was it the lack of a red thread in the quests, story line etc? Cant be sure)

Map Design: 4
Great design

Story/Instructions: 4
The story is nice and creative. But see also my comment above.
