First of all i want to say that this is the update to Silent reign of heroes II and that i truly believe that the problems with the earlier map now should be fixed.
I allso want to update a little about the map, i have made it to be a long runner with great replay value and i have tried to make a good balance between the 8 wizards and i made the independense a force to be reckon with, a living moving part of the map.
The races of the starting towns are on random so ya can customize the wizard and race you want to start with.
This is a big map with lots and lots of things to do so don't expect to be done in 100 turns unless you lose or get allied with all your opponents.
Hmm..what else...yes a little advice playin' the map, don't run off leavin' your wizard alone in town at the beginning or you might get an unpleasant surprise hehe..and ya might want to be carefull travellin' near independent towns with a wizard tower...that's all i say..:)
I hope ya will have a good time playing the map and that it runs smooth and looks cool and that i don't have to fight of any more editor bugs..:) |

Are ya sure it's still bugged? I have played it over and over again for 15 turns each time and no movement bugg and i also currently plays it with a friend and we are on turn 75 and no movement bugg.
The map that are for download now is ok i have downloaded it myself just to check and it works fine so if ya experience the movement bugg try to download it again and delete the old one.

When was the new map updated?
I played a version dated 12/10 but I downloaded it around the 25/10 from AOW2 library.
It stopped at round 15 for me.
I was playing single player as elves and has taken 5 cites on the centre isle and mapped all of it. Made alliance with the dark elves after I took a reflecting pool.
At round 15 the independents move never end. This happened also if I restore to a savegame or the autosave for the round.
Level 15 is earlier then the other reported errors.
I love the design and the part I played was really fun.

Excellent Work!
everything now works great. A great map with days of gameplay and I've only started as default so far.

Excellent all round game doesn't need a story just wipe out the rest. I like the difficult early stages with all the independants roaming around. |

I have also experienced the problem with the computer takin' forever with it's turn and sometimes stop compleatly, but not on this map yet. I don't know why that happens but it usualy do later in the game when there are alot of units movin' around, so i have thought it been a memory problem related to my old computer and not a bugg... hopefully someone else knows more about it.:)
The movement bugg i refer to as fixed is when ya get to your turn and you can't move any units at all.
Hope this helped to clear things up a little bit.:) |

The things you discover only open gates to other unsolved mysteries leaving you constantly curious. Even way beyond turn 100 there are still lots to discover.
Balance: 5
The AI plays well on Emperor and the balance between the wizards is good in my opinion. With 7 wizards left in turn hundred and something, my friend and I are only just beginning to get the upper hand!
Creativity: 5
I don't know whether to love or hate the ever attacking independents!!!
Map Design: 5
I particularly like the bonus area. Nice touch! And the author has really created the right kind of 'moods' in the different areas
Story/Instructions: 1
Well, what can I say... The story isn't really there is it? Not really necessary though with a map this quality!
Additional Comments:
Truly one of the best maps I have ever played. |

Playability: 5
Very challenging with no glitches or problems.
Balance: 4
Arguably lower in the sense that this is a tough map and map take a few tries to succeed against the computer players. On the other hand, if you consider balance to mean the computer has a good chance to beat you then this is well balanced.
Creativity: 4
Nothing outstanding comes to mind yet the terrain and level of detail are quite high and quite entertaining in detail.
Map Design: 5
Interesting map with lots of detail and lots to explore. Only annoying thing is that the enemey players will generally have darkness up which makes traversing the quite complicated underground passages quite difficult.
Story/Instructions: 3
No particular story but it doesn't need one.
Additional Comments:
Very enjoyable map with lots of replay. If you like a good, challenging battle with no particular plot to shorten things to distract than this is a great one to try.

4 of us are 50 turns in on a PBEM game using this map. It is one of the most enjoyable maps I’ve played. But we did have trouble when we started by playing the 4 surface wizards when one of us, playing Yaka, was wiped out on turn 7 by indies that came out of nowhere. So we switched to the 4 underground wizards and sure enough come turn 7 Yaka, an AI wizard this time, was wiped out again. |

The BEST multiplayer map that I have seen. Tons of neutral creatures, ideal balance, hidden town and more. Great work! |

Playability: 3
Huge map with lots to explore and should have some replay value.
I think there is way too much stuff in this map, especially Nodes. I had 5000 Mana by turn 50.
And all the stuff seems to make it more difficult for the AI to expand.
Balance: 4
The map seems very balanced, but some wandering Independents can be too tough in the start
Creativity: 4
Lots of wandering independents makes life more interesting in the beginning.
Some custom heroes and items
Map Design: 3
The geography of the map looks nice.
Story/Instructions: 1
No story at all.
Additional Comments:
This map is too immense for my taste. Got exhausted and the AI was never a threat.
I think this map is most suitable for multi-player.
I quit after 70 turns, when I owned 2/3 of the map, had 15,000 mana and the CPU players were still stuck in their little corners and they never clashed.
