this map take place when there are lands that was very peaceful between every nations but like every good thing it ends. the evil forces decided to take the lands from these peaceful people. but in the biginning the evil forces was loseing to the good people.then the evil forces decided to bring in two more dark forces to help drive out the good people and there leaders. so the good people has a name for these battles.they called it the battle cry. i hope you enjoy this map i played a little bit. i have also put some events with this map to make it more rich. it goes along with the story. plus i have three more i will be working on. it might take me awile before i submit a new one so have fun
As a single-player map this doesn't really make it. Most players are stuck out at the corners or edges of the map, long lines of mountain dividing the map into boxes, good races and evil races grouped together but on opposite edges of the map. The only way to reach the races of opposite alignment on foot is through one underground tunnel. I played with all opponents set to Emperor and won easily, and I'm not a particularly good player. It would make a reasonably well-balanced online map, although the game would probably take too long for most people, due to the huge travelling distances involved. Email players would probably prefer to have defenders on resources. The scenery is very repetitive, virtually all forest and roads, no variation
No challenge in single-player, but reasonably well balanced for online or email games
Repetitive and boring landscape
Map Design: 2
Another landscape divided into square boxes. I didn't encounter any custom heroes, items or events
Appalling English and grammar
Kevin King is obviously committed to the game, otherwise he wouldn't produce copious quantities of maps. I really wish he would channel that enthusiasm into producing one brilliant map every three months, rather than dozens of mediochre maps. I also wish he would stop password protecting his maps!
