In the far future, the surface world has been all but destroyed by some kind of apocalypse-type thing. Civilization has rebuilt itself underground, in really big, convoluted and poorly designed tunnels.
Now, four wizards must fight for control of the underground, to unite all civilisation and avoid a possible second apocalypse. Who will win the underground rumble?
It's an interesting map, but anyone playing it should be aware that indie activity is just MASSIVE! I was playing a PBEM game and my opponent lost to the indies before we ever got near one another. I kept on playing for awhile just for fun and encountered multiple new parties of indies every turn, including a Berserk Bone Dragon and Angel!
Obviously, this slows play down tremendously. It's not that this is bad in itself -- not at all, in fact -- but it's so unlike the regular dynamic of an AOWSM game that I really think there should be some indication, either in the scenario description or with in-game messages, that the indie activity is off the charts.

Very interesting, but very difficult. Lots and lots of independants ,and you start small. Temptation to recruit and overreach is very high.

There are AI blocks that're supposed to keep the independants from getting into the underground... they're meant to stay on the surface...
hmm.. I'll have to look into this. Anyways, thanks for the comment and review, guys! :)

AI blocks does not [block] Independents, only computer-controlled wizards, frien'. EPIC FAIL IMHO, for lack of such an obvious knowledge.
