Looks good for multiplayer romp. The map is quite large so everyone has time to expand before the real clash begins.
The map is quite symmetrical with equal opportunities for each side.
Nothing really new. It's a good simple map for multiplayer

I thought the terrain could be spruced up a bit more. Rather empty in some places, however. That bit of hilliness does make the land seem a bit more realistic.
No use of events. So it's a good map if you want to just play it out without being interupted by events. :) ;)
There was no story on this map.
If this map is smaller, the action might happen a bit sooner. :)

My first game of this map ended on turn 374, so it obviously kept me happy! I needed one or two restarts though, due to some aggressive Independent stacks in the opening few turns.
As I've only played this in SP mode, I can't really make a definite statement on this, but it looks as though the starting positions are well-placed.
Fairly standard stuff.

Again, all pretty straightforward. Some nice touches, but nothing outstanding. It probably could have done with a bit more variety, as there are a few very plain, flat and empty areas of the map.
No story, scripts or events. Who needs them?
This is the sort of 'standard' map I like to play. No story or events to push you along one path or another, just a big, strategic wargame. I realise it will be too simple, even dull, for the more demanding players here who like interesting stories and surprises, but I feel those elements are just an extra to AoWII anyway. Overall, great stuff!
