Kharagh The bulk of this file is the 31 new ILBs (for unit bodies). Complete documentation of additions/changes is included (.xls, .doc, & .txt format). Installation instructions can be found on the first page of both the .doc & .txt files. There are not yet any scenarios designed for this resource set, so RMG games are suggested. I will try to put some unit pics in the mod-making forum for anyone who wants a preview.

First off, I've encountered a lock up while running Trillian and this, when trying to switch resolutions. That'll teach me to multitask. Heh.

Secondly, the "Shifting Demon" has a good alignment, making it nary impossible to actually use.

The games seems more fast paced now and the graphics are cool - Great idea. There were a lot of problems with mana / gold costs with starting units as the undead.

I like the mod a lot! Two things I've noticed:

1) If you give a wizard a 'penalty skill' and then removes it, he still gets to choose two other skills, as opposed to just one.

2) The dark angle/dread reaper that is summonable only has a strangle attack (and no melee attack). Is this right?

So this one looks good first. All races exept undead play good as well, but the undead have some serious Problems...
1. The new demonic units are too expensive for their vlaue in Game.
2. The Undeads that are producable with the racial building of the demon/undeads (=summoning)are too cheap exept for that Necromancer. 1 of 5 Gold for a Zombie Skeleton Warrior or Skeletal Archer is a bit too few.
3.The Undead are unable to produce a Settler - If you choose "Pioneer only" as starting town, you'll get one, but you cant produce them ever.
4. Until You built your Racial structure (Domm Hall?) You can't Build Unit with Ranged weapon. Its very Hard to defend a Town without Units capable of Ranged Combat.

to sum up all this...
The graphics of the new units look great. Specially the the Evil Eyes, 'cos it's not a recolored normal unit, but the beholder doubled. Greatly done. I've Tried to make a Unit myselve... looked terrible :)
For the Problem stuff: To make the Towns produce the settler isn't difficult, I suppose You just forgot to assign it. The Other things. Maybe give the Evil Eyes a Doom Gaze as well, or anything Ranged. If you don't want to make an Archer unit, 'cos it looks 'undemonic' then use something with black or magic bolts or anything you like (similar to bombards or Lightning catcher maybe). After that you just should reduche cost for the Level 1+2 Units, and make the Lv 3 Units a bit stronger. And please give the "Summoned" Undead a higher price - just imagine a player with 3 Undead towns that bulds 3 full armies of Skelton Swordsman in 8 rounds for a cost of 24 Gold. The last thing to mention is that the recolored demon Lord looks Great, but is a bit uncreative - but i have to admitt, i cant imagine any better right now. Maybe a blood Dragon or sumthin.
Do all that - or anything that make this Race balanced and feel good to play, and you'll get my 5 :)

Ah in the End i wanted to say, that i'm trying to mod myselve and all this stuff is easyly and fas said, but very hard to get done. So dont be annoyed about what I said. I know it's hard to do :) And you can be prowd to have completely made something you can call a real Mod, with own Units and all this.

Andysaurus How did you incorporate new Wizard images and text, etc, as only Heros and Items have additional specific library support in the map editor
