This is a fast playing and slightly "adventurised" variant of Creek of Aberil for AoW2. Compared with the original, there is an extra underground level holding treasure, a tunnel and additional opportunities. On the surface cities are far developed, but the player cannot walk completely undesturbed by independents. Area guards and scripted indies were added to make the game even more lifely but moderate in speed. The amount of units at start and workcamps have been increased and care was taken to avoid fate-dependent uneven chances for one side. Hence this map is a full challenge to the skillful player and a good choice for 1-1 ladder games.
This is a fairly average map which is good for a quick game between two players. It is pretty and has some good strategic options but nothing much different from other AoW 2 maps. I played it single-player, which was admittedly against your recommendations so I won't rate it. This is a symmetrical two-wizard map so it is very easy for a single player against the AI.
I think the "Adventure" part is about the underground cave with the Ring of Power, etc.. But you need to give more clues about it; it is in a very obscure location and players won't stumble into it by chance. Also this map would be more interesting with more scripted events; now there are just a few of them.
