Additional Comments:
Basically this map sucks, dont even waste your time.
Indepandent map pigs running every where, destroy every thing. At turn 50, the death AI casted Damination. GG!

Just to balance up the last review - I am a fair way into this scenario and have played 2 different races.
I have had no problems with the independents that roam around - they just make nice cannon fodder for my trainee heroes.
So far the map seems to be quite nice.
I have about 12 heroes I think ranging from level 3 to about 21.
I raze all the towns except for 3 that I've kept.
Second Poor map I've reviewed today. It's hardly worth playing since the balance is awful and no opportunity exists to build up an army. I played as tigrams problem is there is no route for humans that doesn't pass through who are given a much superior army. That plus the independants make the map untenable.
If the objective is just to make difficult maps
without consideration for balance and gameplay then don't be surprised by adverse comments. The AI already has ridiculous advantages in some situations these kind of maps highlight the deficiences in the game - how exactly does the AI support 54 mainline units with only a town and no other source of income?
Unless facilities for expansion are given then the game is just one long drag with siege defence the only option

I'm still playing the map and not having many problems.
I have 3 main towns close together which have never been attacked.
I am using heroes only to mop up mobs in an ever increasing circle around my 3 towns.
I now have a stack of cannons in each towns just in case.
I am playing Anon - archon - life.
My rating is equal to top ai - magnificent.
Some difficult stacks are turning up sometimes but I'm razing the top AI towns deep inside their territory.
Maybe this scenario is best played developing heroes - dunno.
Seems to work for my type of game tho.
Additional Comments: One of the worst maps I've ever played. If there was a 0 rating then it would get five.

I played the map second time and played as the the tigerant. I found that the map is playable, sorry about my first review. The challenging things are 2. first, there are lots of early rampant independents who destroyed your resouce sites and weak defended cities which make your economy really tight. Second the powerful AI players(which are given extra startup resouce) will do a sneaky attack pretty early(I managed to defend my only wizzard tower city with only 1 unit survive and even the wizzard was killed). Somehow I managed to level 2 heroes 1 up to lvl30 and 1 lvl18 and came up on top from then on. I stopped playing from there coz I know the game already in my pocket. Good map and I appologize for my first review.
I can't believe how a couple of casual reviewers trashed this map by a first-time map maker and undoubtedly discouraged her from further efforts. This is an excellent map, one of the best I've played. The details are wonderfully creative. For instance the wandering packs of boars make for tense play early on, largely because they're so surprising (they raze undefended structures). Once you get the idea, they're readily dealt with an even can be used to blood new units, but they require compensating tactics.
Please, lisasmom, don't let a few hasty reviews discourage you -- you know you created a great map.
