This map is a part of a large world called "Land of Gohm" and is intended to be one of the historical events in this fantasy world, more maps/wars + website coming soon.
The map has been tested quite a few times. It is not perfectly balanced, but isn't intended to be either.
Refugees along the west coast come to a land dominated by several tribal factions, who of course have the upper hand. But united, there shouldn't be a problem for the refugees.
Since the AI can't use a boat is, I'm using teleporters instead. |

I am a sucker for extra large maps but am new to AOW2. This was my 5th map played. Unfortunately the game slows down terribly making the end game very frustrating. I hope this is a bug that can be patched. Good idea to set game to allied victory! Great map for mega armies. There is over 80 cities! I had hasted airships with titans and steam cannons running everywhere.
Balance: 4
I played single player and any position should easily defeat the AI at any setting. It seems balanced for MP. But you would be mad to play it in MP!
Creativity: 3
AOW2 doesnt allow the same creativity as HOMM4 in mapmaking. The map looked good and there was plenty to do.
Map Design: 4
Looked good. Plenty to do.
Story/Instructions: 2
Not a lot. There were some timed events. I dont pay attention to stories unless they are important and/or very well written which is rare.
Additional Comments:
I dont like this formatted method of reviewing maps. The map ends up with a rating of 15/25 but as I dont value a story highly and if the slowdown is patched (I hope),I would give the map 15/20. It wont challenge a veteran I am sure, but is good fun for novices.

Fun and easy to play. No problems or glitches.
Balance: 3
There seemed a slight advantage to certain starting points.
Creativity: 5
Innovative and fun (once again). See more under Story.
Map Design: 4
Could have used just a little more Underground.
Story/Instructions: 5
I love the land of Gohm, and the messages and events were excellent. My rating of 5 for Story goes along with my rating of 5 for Creativity.
Additional Comments:
More installments of Gohm, please.

As already mentioned before:
No glitches and very much fun to play, especially multiplayer. Great map overall. Carry on this wonderful work, guys.
Balance: 4
It maybe a bit unbalanced, but I think this makes the map special. 4 points there.
Creativity: 5
According to story and map design - 5 points.
I can really feel that the map makers took their time to breathe life into the Land of Gohm.
Map Design: 5
Very good map design. I encounter myself sitting just minutes in front of my PC and staring at the beautiful landscape. I especially like the orc swamps *Thumbs up*
Story/Instructions: 5
I didn't play the whole map through yet (HELL! That thing is BIG! - I love that!) but as far as I encountered the story yet, it is a real masterpiece of all AoW2 maps out here.
Overall a wonderful map. I am recommending this to everyone who's not afraid of large maps.

Well, I do not know what is the problem with AoWII and big maps. Every move I make (only on big maps ) takes at least 10 seconds, until AoWII reacts. My PC ( Celeron 1800 MHZ, 512 MB, 3D Geforce-Card 128MB ) can´t be the problem. I also installed Patch 1.3, so AoWII must have a problem.... So its a nasty think to wait until your units move....
Balance: 4
Pretty well balanced, but depending on your starting race, you may have a slight disadvantage
Creativity: 5
Not much to say, perfect, as every map of yours. Some events, occuring later in the game, keep things spicy. The "win game" trigger isn´t working. Maybe an AoW-problem. Interesting "anti"-magic (good races have evil spells and the other way round) and starting allies. Good.
Map Design: 5
No mistakes found. The map is well designed, looks, as if this map took you at least one year or so to design. Very well !
Story/Instructions: 4
Some triggers do not work, as said, the "win game"-trigger, for example. This may be a problem with the programming of AoW. Instructions are given, some signs are set, messages are rare.
