The land of Erathia v.1.0
This is my first AoW II map and I have been working quite a lot on it. I haven’t come up with a story yet, but it hope it will come when I update the map. I have been putting a lot of time trying to do the environments look as realistic as they could, but I must say I am no expert in the AoW II Editor.
There are 8 players on map in many different locations on the map, and every wizard have some towns with their starting race so all the players can get a good start and start building their empires. This map isn’t hard and there is not much enemies running around on the map, I maybe change this in a future update.
This is the first version of the map, and I haven’t played it with all the races so I don’t now how well balanced it is but I think its not any major differences. There can be some minor bugs, like spelling mistakes (I’m from Sweden so..) . It is still much to do on the map but send please send me your comments how to improve the map try to do that as fast as possible.
Yes! This map looks beautiful with a varied landscape. I can hardly wait to play it, and review it. Good job Chaotic Fish.

I played this map as a SP map, taking the Archon side. It was fun up to the point that I had beaten 3 other sides, after which it bogged down and became a chore to manage.
I set the enemy AIs to Emperor and it was challenging to keep expanding in the beginning. A teleport ring allows the AI to put pressure close to the Archon home. The Dwarven side is very defensible (might be too good for MP, but that is just a guess) and it took a while to dig them out.
The designer took a basic idea and did it well. The AI was able to use the terrain to its advantage and the teleport ring helped the AI a lot. The underground was fun and was not an endless maze.
Map Design: 4
This was a well laid out and attractive map.
There was a brief background that set the story adequately. This is a battle map, not a story map.
This is a good map to play SP if the AI is set high depending on player skill. I'd recommend King as a minimum except for new players. The map is generous with resources. This is a good map to get to know how to play a race.

Playability is what I am looking for. And I have found it here. Good work.
